First of all, happy new year to you all and I hope you all had a brilliant Christmas!

The other day I received an email requesting that I post more Keri Hilson hairstyle photographs, and being in the jolly holiday spirit I felt it was only right to oblige. Keri Hilson is always setting new trends and trying out new styles, from bangs to two tone curls. So here’s a small compilation of the beautiful superstars various hairstyles:

Ciara’s New Hairstyle

RnB singer Ciara had this to say about her fabulous new short hairstyle:

“I have to admit I love my hair long, but trying shorter is fun too because with fashion and with women, our hair is our way of us expressing ourselves. That’s kind of what I felt and that’s what inspired me to go short.”

The 23 year old star has celebrity stylist Kiyah Wright to thank for her stunning new do. She said in a recent People magazine interview:

“I was like, ‘I just want to go short today,’ so I said to my hair stylist, ‘What can we do?’ We went in, we played around, we created something fun and that’s where it came from.”

She also claimed:

“This hair takes ten minutes to fix. I wake up in the morning and I don’t have to rush as much.”

I’m definitely starting to see a trend amongst black celebrities and short hairstyles, keep checking back for more!

Michelle Obama’s Faux Bob

The First Lady was snapped earlier on this year using a celebration of country music at the White House to unveil her swept back tresses. Looking very elegant in her white patterned dress, Mrs Obama’s bobbed hairstyle topped off a classy appearance.
